Where does PurityIQ's data come from?
All residue risk data is sourced from government and established third-party datasets: the Environmental Working Group (EWG), Florida Healthy, Canada CFIA, and the USDA Pesticide Data Program. Legal tolerance levels come from EPA 40 CFR §180. We do not use AI-generated scores or proprietary risk ratings — only published, verifiable data.
Why doesn't my product show up?
Our database is growing. If a product is not in our system, it means we don't yet have residue testing data linked to that barcode. You can report missing products to support@purityiq.app and we'll prioritize adding them.
How do I cancel my subscription?
PurityIQ subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone and select PurityIQ. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. We do not lock you in — cancel any time.
Is the founding member price permanent?
Yes. If you subscribed at the founding member rate of $4.99/year, that price is locked in for as long as you maintain an active subscription.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are processed by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID to submit a refund request.
Does PurityIQ store what I scan?
No. Barcode scans are used to return your results and are not stored against your account or identity.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Apple. PurityIQ never sees, stores, or handles your card or banking information.
